1959 Vintage Antique Soviet USSR Railway Candle Lantern Rail Lamp 3 Way Signal

Railway candle lantern. Tetrahedral shape.
Dimensions: total height with handle - 38 cm, without handle - 22 cm, width and depth - 12 cm.
The diameter of the hole for the candle is about 3 cm. A candle with a diameter of 2.8 cm fits perfectly.
With an opening door.
Windproof, on three sides of the quadrangle there are glasses that are protected by metal elements, and on the back side there is a blank wall with a handle for carrying and hanging.
There is an air vent at the bottom of the door, and a valve at the top.

It was used in the post-war years for lighting and for marking dimensions.
New, from storage, in preservation grease.
They were stored in open boxes, so in addition to lubrication, there is a long-term coating of dust.
Made in the USSR in the 50s.

Please note that during shipment, the lantern insole may break, although we pack well.
It is easy to replace with any glass cut to size.
