Rechargeable Railway flashlight , 1960 Original.

Electric signal and lighting lantern (FESO) railway.

Number of signals - 3 (yellow, red, green).

 The factory stamp on the bottom indicates the year of manufacture - 1972.

FESO - electric signal and lighting lantern - is used by railway workers during inspection of rolling stock and for supplying railway light signals.

It is also used for fencing places that impede train movement, for which it is equipped with special light filters (Red included).

FESO has two systems - lighting and signaling.

Each of them uses an MH 2.5-0.75 light bulb, V-45M type switches and a 2NK-13 battery.

The switches are attached to the top cover of the housing.

The power source is an alkaline rechargeable battery NK-13P TU 16-90 ILVE 563330.001 UT (2 pcs.).

To charge the batteries, you can connect the wires using the fastening nuts located on the sides of the battery. The duration of continuous burning of one bulb without recharging is 13 hours.
